Meet the fantastic team at AM Salon, a hair salon located at 8 Main Street. Owner and stylist Amanda Maddalena opened her salon in October of 2019, but has been working in the hair industry since 2005.She trained at Hunterdon County Polytech Cosmetology Program and competed in Skills USA to place 2nd in NJ for hair cutting, styling, and up-to-do look. She continues her education with multiple classes and shows throughout the year to stay up to date with the latest hair trends.
Since opening her salon less than a year ago, Amanda said she is so grateful for her clientele and their support over the past few months. “Our customers re so thoughtful, loyal, and such a joy to work with.”
AM Salon offers the latest trends in haircuts, hair color, balayage, dimensional color, keratin treatments, hair extensions, up-dos, and special occasion hair. They also offer spa services such as facials, peels, microdermabrasion, scalp treatments, eyelash extensions, and more.
Fun Fact: Amanda grew up in Hunterdon County, so when asked what the best-kept secret about Hunterdon County, she said, “growing up here my entire life, I always admired the open space and rural beauty that this county has. We truly live in the prettiest county in the state!”
