MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND – MAY 27 & 28: ALL TRAIN RIDES ARE JUST $12 PER PERSON!
The “Black River Limited” is our classic round-trip excursion between Flemington and Ringoes in rural Hunterdon County, NJ.
Whether you begin your trip from Flemington or Ringoes, the ride is about 20 minutes in each direction, plus a 15-20 minute stop to turn the train around.
At Ringoes, you’ll have a chance to visit our museum, as well as the Gift Shop located in our historic civil-war-era station!
Ticketing / Location
Advance reservations strongly recommended. Walk-up sales are available at Flemington Station, space permitting. Trains depart from Flemington and Ringoes Stations; please pay careful attention to the departure location when purchasing your tickets!
Power
The Black River Limited is pulled by one of our vintage diesel-electric locomotives or historic steam locomotive #60. All trains are scheduled with diesel power unless otherwise noted below. We reserve the right to substitute power and equipment at any time.
Restrooms
Flemington: No public restrooms available.
Ringoes: Temporary restroom facilities are available, adjacent to the station area.
On-Board: No restroom facilities exist on board the train.
