July 19, 2021 Flemington, NJ – We Kids of Flemington has been operating in Flemington for 25 years, and they celebrated by hosting “We Kids Fest” on June 26th at Turntable Junction. Hundreds of people attended the event, which featured live music, sidewalk sales, and children’s activities. The United Way of Hunterdon County offered children the opportunity to make savings banks and colorful tie-dye t-shirts, Comic Fusion offered free comic books, and Flemington Community Partnership’s paper flower garden was decorated by the families who visited the event.
“It was such a blessing to watch families smiling and enjoying themselves all day, and I am so grateful to our customers, the We Kids team, the businesses around Turntable Junction, the United Way, Flemington Community Partnership, and so many others who made this event a success, explained Dawn Troutman, owner of We Kids.
“Over 25 years, We Kids has moved locations and changed ownership 4 times, and yet the mission of serving families, promoting recycling and reselling, and providing a resource for inexpensive clothing and toys for children has not changed a bit,” Troutman added. “Like the diligent “mom” owners before me, we are here to serve the community we love,” she added.
