Moms Demand Action Book Club Discussion: Book by Mónica Guzmán

Join us as we gather to discuss “I Never Thought of it That Way: How to Have Fearless Conversations in Dangerously Divided Times” by Mónica Guzmán. We encourage you to bring friends and family as we attempt to build bridges of understanding between people with different viewpoints, backgrounds, experiences, ages, and generations. We will address the topic of gun violence and legislation in an attempt to open up lines of thoughtful and respectful communication. Our hope is to build a fact-based understanding of the epidemic and origins of gun violence in our country and start conversations where we look for and find common ground. In this way, we hope to begin to bridge the divisions that hold us back from developing common-sense solutions that can benefit our communities and our country as a whole.
